Q: How much experience do I need in order to be involved in a VYT program?
A: While our advanced and touring programs require auditions, our regular
programs are great for new actors. You don't need to audition for our regular programs
held year round, which promote self-expression, self-esteem, and friendship.
Q: How do I register for a program?
A: First of all, you can either download a registration form and brochure from
our web site, or we can mail them to you. Next, if you are paying by Visa, you can either
fax us with the registration form, or call us. If you are paying by cheque, please mail us
your payment with the registration form.
Q: How do I ask a question?
A: To ask a question, or make a suggestion, comment, or compliment, please
contact us.
Q: How can I volunteer for the Vancouver Youth Theatre?
A: VYT offers many fun and exciting ways to get involved! Whether you'd like to
help out in the office, backstage or behind the scenes, we can use you! Volunteers can be
involved in helpling with mailouts or phone calls, fundraising, sewing costumes or making
props, running errands or assisting our directors behind the scenes! Please call us to
find out how you can be involved!
Q: How can I book a Vancouver Youth Theatre performance for my school or
community group?
A: VYT's touring productions include "Kids' Writes" for audiences in grades K-7,
and "Say Peace 2" for audiences in grades 8-12. Both shows tour to schools, facilities and
conferences in April and May. VYT's touring shows are available through ArtSTARTS in
Schools. You may also call the office to contact our Tour Coordinator for more
information, including schedules and fees. We look forward to performing for you!
